Joseph A. Keegan -Head of School, Lower Elementary (6-9) Head Teacher
Joe has his AMS certification for Primary (3-6) and Lower Elementary (6-9), state certification for pre K-3rd grade and a Masters in early childhood education with a concentration in Montessori. He has worked in both Primary and Lower Elementary environments in both public and private schools since 1995. He came to Gloria Dei in August 2007 as the Lead Teacher in the Lower Elementary classroom and recently became Head of School.
Kimberly Coleman - Toddler Head Teacher
Kim has worked with toddlers and pre-school children at Gloria Dei since 1998, starting as a parent and an assistant. She has AMS certification for Infant/Toddler. She is currently enrolled at The University of Dayton, majoring in Early Childhood Education Leadership and Advocacy.
Jennifer Brehm - Upper Elementary Head Teacher
Jennifer Brehm has her state certification for pre K through grade 3 and an endorsement for grades 4 and 5. She has worked with pre K through 8th grade in both public and private schools since 2004, including a year teaching in Brazil. Her most recent work experience includes working with students with a variety of learning challenges, inlcuding specific disabilitites and ESL. This is her first year with a Montessori school.
Kaslin Babock - Primary Head Teacher
Kaslin has been a part of the Gloria Dei Community since 1993, beginning as a student at age 6 and leaving at age 12. She returned in 2009 as an Assistant Teacher in the Primary environment. She is currently completing her Primary training at the Columbus Montessori Teacher Education Program. Kaslin is also enrolled to complete her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education at Sinclair Community College.
Liz Gemperline - Lower Elementary Head Teacher
Liz is a 2011 graduate from Xavier University, where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Montessori Education, an Ohio State License in Early Childhood Education and a 6-9 Montessori credential. After a yearlong student teaching experience, Liz joined the Gloria Dei community in the summer of 2011 and took on the role of Lower Elementary Head teacher. She plans to pursue her Master’s degree and her professional license.
